As part of the GREEN-MAP project, doctoral students from our Department, Martyna Sokołowska and Nina Kantor-Malujdy, together with Tomasz Konieczny (Cetner for Polymer and Carbon Materials, Polish Academy of Sciences), introduced the community at The Ohio State University to Polish culture, history and served a few dishes. The presentation was held as part of a series of Cultural Connections events organized by Jason Owens on the Wooster campus. The group from Poland prepared a medley and bigos, and an apple cake for dessert for the 60 people who registered for the event. They also gave a brief presentation of the GREEN-MAP project, which allows for the exchange of knowledge and experiences related to more than just work.
