The public defense of the doctoral thesis of Miss Malwina Niedźwiedź M.Sc., entitled "Amphiphilic and hybrid polymer networks containing fibrinogen and katechol derivatives" was held on April 15, 2025. Supervisor of doctoral thesis was prof. Miroslawa El Fray, and co-supervisor was dr Gokhan Demirci. The reviewers of the thesis were prominent specialists in materials engineering and chemical sciences from leading national universities: Prof. Jadwiga Laska (AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow), Prof. Alina Sionkowska (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun) and Dr. Radosław Mrówczyński, Prof. ZUT (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań). The reviewers appreciated the high quality of the completed research and requested that the reviewed thesis be awarded with Cum laude. The work was carried out under the National Science Center OPUS17 grant entitled. “Hybrid and elastomeric polymer networks: synthesis, structure and properties” UMO-2019/33/B/ST5/01445.
