Our invention, patented in Poland and the US, has entered the next phase of research for use in hernia repair. The viscous liquid composition we developed solidifies rapidly under UV light and perfectly bonds the mesh fragments used in hernia reconstruction. Thanks to the cooperation between science and business (the company that acquired the exclusive license for this invention from ZUT), it was possible to successfully perform hernia reconstruction surgery on 5 patients.
