The Second Congress of Internationalization was held in Warsaw on September 11-12, 2024. Its main topic was the future of Polish science. Several hundred representatives of universities and research institutions from all over Poland, as well as foreign experts, met in the hospitable walls of Warsaw University, which is a partner of the event organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange and the National Science Center.
A key item on the agenda of the Second Congress was an inter-ministerial debate between the deputy ministers of science, foreign affairs, funds and regional policy, and development and technology, featuring Prof. Andrzej Szeptycki, Dr. Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, Jan Szyszko and Ignacy Niemczycki. The inaugural lecture was given by Prof. Hans de Wit - a prominent Dutch expert in the field of internationalization.
A participant in the Second Congress was Prof. Mohamed Hasanin, a fellowship holder of the ULAM program funded by the National Academic Exchange Agency. Prof. Hasanin is carrying out a project entitled “Sustainable nanostructure drug carrier system-based potato peel waste for drug formulations.”
